Main House Tours at Connetquot River State Park Preserve

The Main House was once the clubhouse of the Southside Sportsmen's Club of Long Island which was established in 1866. Park visitors will visit the Rod Room, Ladies & Men's Dining rooms, Kitchen, Sitting Rooms, Bell Room, Bedroom & Billiard Room where people like Theodore Roosevelt, Ulysses S. Grant & other prominent men sat around a Ben Franklin Stove after a day of fishing the Connetquot River.
